Over the last few weeks I have been considering wh Over the last few weeks I have been considering what contribution I can make to support the courageous but beleaguered people of Ukraine. Taking my inspiration from Agatha Christie (who would often donate the royalties from a specific novel or play to a worthwhile cause) I decided to make something that could raise funds by auction or raffle.

The result is two Ukrainian flag themed boxes (photos attached), one in Scottish elm with elm burr veneer lid, the other in English sycamore. Both feature fine Brusso cabinet hinges generously donated by Classic Hand Tools of Witnesham and have a French polished finish.

All monies raised will go the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

All non-anonymous donors giving £10 or more will be entered into a raffle to be drawn on Easter Monday (18 April). The two winners will receive one of these boxes.
